Since there is also a small amount of pigment in the carpophores, this strain is better considered a leucistic form instead of a true albino. Albino A+ spores are dark purple under a microscope. Albino A+ mushrooms retain normally pigmented spores, unlike the PF Albino mushroom.

Psilocybe cubensis is probably the most widespread species of psychedelic mushrooms worldwide. It usually grows in warm, wet subtropical climates all along America, Oceania, and Southeast Asia—although it’s also possible to find it in other parts of the world.
